We offer reptile boarding services to customers who need a reliable place to leave their scaly friends while they are away. Most of the time, bringing your own enclosure is not necessary to board your pets with us but you are always welcome to do so if that is your preference. Please call to make reservations ahead of time.
$8/day--- Daily Feeders (bearded dragons, chameleons, iguanas, etc.)

With over 8yrs of both personal & educational experience caring for a variety of reptile species, we are here to help you throughout your reptile journey. We offer species specific reptile care advice to help educate our customers and ensure that each animal is setup to thrive. We can walk you through optimal enclosure size, proper heating & lighting, handling techniques, diet, and supplements your reptile may need. Although we are not Veterinarians, as a Zoologist/Herpetologist I am able to assist you with common health issues including shedding, feeding, mites, bacterial infections, etc. We welcome all reptile owners & enthusiasts to contact us with any questions even if you did not purchase your animal from us!

Our Reptile Room is where the majority of our animals are housed including fan favorites such as Ramses- our 8ft Ornate Monitor, Mango- our 13ft Albino Green Burmese Python, and many more! You will find well over 400 reptiles on the property at any given time when you stop by for a visit.
This room is open to the public and 100% FREE to come inside and look around during regular business hours. If we aren't busy assisting other customers, we will gladly walkthrough the room with you, answer any questions, and maybe even pull out a reptile or 2 to hold. Donations are always welcome to help support the many rescues we care for.

Our private tours are the best way to get an up close and personal, hands-on, immersive experience with a variety of our reptiles! Here, you will be able to learn about, handle, and take pictures with over 15 species of reptiles from Tortoises, snakes, iguanas, geckos, and more! We can personalize your tour to fit your specific needs, interests, or even help get over fears. You can even request a reptile feeding experience when you book your tour! Booking one of our Reptile Birthday Parties is the best way to have a family friendly, hands-on, unforgettable experience that you can share with your loved ones! This is ideal for both children and adults because there are no age limits to who can enjoy reptiles. All of our birthday parties include a 1hr presentation where the guests will be able to learn about, handle, and take pictures with 15-20 different species of reptiles. Please contact us to make an appointment ahead of time. We require a $50 nonrefundable deposit to reserve a date.
On-Site Birthday: We will host you and your guests here at Killer Clutches for an outdoor event. We provide tables, table cloths, and speakers. You are welcome to bring your own decorations and food & beverages to offer your guests during the party.
On-Site Party (2hrs) - $300
Off-Site Birthday: We will travel to your location with our animals for the presentation. We will charge you a gas & mileage fee if you're outside of Chico. Always check weather for outdoor events.

Booking one of our Reptile Educational Programs is the best way to have a captivating, informational, hands-on learning experience where students and adults can engage with animals in a positive and memorable way. Here we create an environment that sparks the interest of young minds and helps debunk years of stereotypes, learned fear, misunderstandings, and ignorance. Knowledge is power and we hope to better the lives of these terribly misunderstood & neglected animals through education and outreach.
All of our educational programs include a 1hr presentation where the students & teachers will be able to learn about, handle, and take pictures with 15-20 different species of reptiles. There is no limit to the amount of people who can be present however, please note that the larger the groups, the less hands-on opportunities there will be per person. Both Off-Site (we travel to you) and On-Site field trip opportunities are available. We will charge you a gas & mileage fee if you're outside of Chico. Please contact us to make an appointment ahead of time.

rescue, Rehab, & adoptions
Here at Killer Clutches we spend a lot of our time and resources taking in and caring for many rescues. This is a judgment free space where you can surrender a reptile in any condition. If you feel like you or someone you know is unable to properly care for an animal or simply no longer wants it, please don't hesitate to bring it to us. The majority of the animals we rescue and rehabilitate will eventually be available for adoption to responsible, pre-approved homes. However, some of these animals become permanent members of our family and are able to live out the rest of their lives here. All animals that we receive are quarantined, examined, and treated if necessary until they are ready for their new forever homes. Adoption fees vary depending on the specific animal to ensure they do not end up in another bad situation or simply "flipped" for profit. Call us or stop by in person to learn about the animals available for adoption.

We offer nail trimming services for a variety of species including lizards & tortoises. If you have a very large pet or a highly defensive one, there may be an additional fee. We are also able to trim the beaks on turtles & tortoises using a dremel. Appointments are welcome but not necessary.
